Reminds me of shortly after I bought my S2000 (my first car ever with ABS). A month or two later I was driving the CRX (with snow tires on, so nice and ungrippy) and hit the brakes. Big lockup. It had only taken me a month or two to forget about 15 years of practice at brake modulation. Doh!
First time I bedded race pads, I forgot the car was wearing snow tires. Hit the brakes fairly gently at high speed, and ABS kicks in. Not what I had in mind!

I think I spotted DSR in what looked like a black miata, but upon closer inspection was a bone stock s2000 with sunglasses on when the sun wasn't even shining. Sammamish area.
