i ain't waiting to get the 1st year model of anything and i ain't waiting 2-3 years to get the one that's all sorted out. the M3 is a stop-gap measure for that stuttgart mobile.

btw, this sucka is heavy!

is this like a chinese version of keeping up with the joneses... err wongs? if that's the case, kelv get your BP supercharger already. you were lovin that shit back at jerry's. low end torque right?
If I do the supercharger I'll most probably wait until the beta testers get done blowing their engines

I figure the new one's price would be approx the same as the one that's available now.

it's not just the engine them beta testers should be worried about. really sux driving a sports car you gotta baby. comptech all the way.

make sure you budget in a new clutch for something grabbier, perhaps a lightweight flywheel while you're down there (it was a must for me) and a steamroller set of wheels. slapping on a supercharger is just one step of really making the car sing. so you're looking at $6K SC, $1.5K clutch, $5K wheels and tires for the S2K baller setup.
Which is exactly why I'm thinking about just buying a beater track car

I really want an Exige, but I'm starting to lean towards the idea that I already HAVE a beater track car, if I am just willing to give up on the idea of also using it as a daily driver.

Still, I'm not going to make any decisions until I get a chance to drive a Lotus on the track and see for myself what I would be getting or giving up.
