Default 2003 S2K STOCK VS. LOWERED

http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j1...psc99ed724.jpg

Looking for some input from S2k owners.
I just purchased a 2003 S2000 with 40k miles. It has been lowered with Tein springs which is great but I feel every little bump.
I am needing to cut the Bump stops but am thinking of raising it back up to stock heigth with OEM springs instead. I love the way it looks but am looking for a smoother ride. Also it would be easier to get in and out of (listen to me whine).
If I only knew someone in the SW Washington (Vancouver/PDX) area that had a stock S for me to ride in to get a feel for the ride to better make a decision.
Any input would be greatly appreciated

The Tein Stech's are actually pretty similar to the stock springs in terms of ride comfort, so going back to stock wouldn't really net you a more comfortable ride.

fernando, But it would make it so I don't have to crawl out of the car. I am sure once I chopped the Bump stops it would ride much better but for just a little more money, I can raise it up. Either option would give me a smoother ride. I am going to go look at a completely stock S2k this weekend which I think will help me make a decision. Thanks for you input!

If your constantly hitting the bump stops with those springs, then they are definitely too low to be a good fictional set up. Eibach pro kit is a good tried and true lowering spring which lowers the car 1". If your interested in returning the car to oem spec, I do have a set of stock springs I’m selling in my FS thread for $50, cant beat it.

I don't understand how you're hitting the bump stops with Tein springs though, or why you would want to cut them?

I have the same springs, the car rides fantastic, I've tracked on more than one occasion with them and the car held up fine. I've never bottomed out or hit the bump stops.
