Default 18" wheels

So I have a question about 18" wheels on an S2000.

My car is sitting pretty low right now and I was wondering if I could fit 18x10 or 18x8.5 without any rubbing.

Would I have to adjust anything to the fender to fit correctly?

What tire size would be recommended for this size?

And anyone have pictures of 18x8.5 in the front and 18x10 in the back?

Looking for something similar to this fitment

Thanks

i would guess you would need a really high offset (+60 ?), combined with a fair amount of negative camber and possibly a stretched tire to fit a ten inch wheel in the back, and of course a fender roll and possibly a pull.

you might want to ask in the wheel and tire forum, im sure you would get more responses there

You will need a camper kit, roll fenders and tab relocation

No camber kit or fender pull needed, but trimming or rolling your fenders (which ever you prefer)with the bumper tab relocate mod will surely be necessary if you want some good size rubber. For a 10" wheel in the back your tire width range will be 255-285. The higher the number offset the better for more rubber fitment. Try not to exceed -3 camber or your handling and tire wear will suffer. This camber is about the max range for the best performance in cornering grip. I have managed to squeeze a 11.5" custom widened wheel in a 17" with a 295 out back. -3 camber. The offset works out to +88 now. On aprox 2-1/4" drop.

Being an 18" wheel, you will want to go with a 30 series profile to maintain a similar fender clearance and stock gear ratio.

If you are just planning to have a parking lot car and don't care about performance, disregard my post above. The smallest number offset with the skinniest size tire will get the look of the white car. +30-35 with 235-245. More then -3 camber.

I tried getting CNC auto to fit my 17x9.5 +30's and they wouldn't touch it. They were sticking out probably 2 inches though, they said I would need to have camber too low to drive on...

for an 18" wheel you will want to run a 35 series tire. for "flush look" fitment you will want around a 255/35/18 tire on 18x10.5 +50 - +60 in the rear. and around a 225/35/18 on a 18x8.5 +40. all fenders rolled with a slight pull. wheels need to be installed at the same site that youre having your camber adjusted so it can be set to your style preference. s2000's do not need "camber kits". and greyson08 those wheels fill fit with a 245-40-17 tire depending on the brand. fender rolled and pulled flush with around 2.5 degrees of negative camber.

keep in mind that when running a wheel fitment that maxes out the room your car has to offer you have pay a lot of attention to tire specs as it varies by brand even if it has the same profile.
