Again, the law abiding citizens become de-armed and the criminals have no trouble getting ammo.

I don't really know. My last job (Indiana) specifically stated having a firearm on company premises (even if it was locked in a case in the trunk of your car) was a fireable offense. I don't know what my current employer's policy is.
