I'm game to join up for the drive. I'll be leaving the Montlake area between 5:30 and 6:00 am, planning to arrive @ 7:30. On the highways I don't do much more than 5 over the speed limit, so if you want a spirited drive down, I'm not the guy. When I get there - then it's all or nothing!

It looks like we'll have 5 S2000s at Shelton tomorrow - based on pre-registrations. 1 in SA (with two drivers), 3 in ST1, and 1 in ST3. A fun day!

Welcome to Seattle! It's a little wetter here than Sacramento, but that will teach you finesse on the auto-x course. Let's set up a place to meet off the list (I'll e-mail you). If anyone else wants to join us in south Seattle @ 6:15 am, please e-mail me.

Man, it was damp!! I especially liked the part where Matt and I took a course walk, it started pouring, we finished the course walk, and the rain lightened up.

Matt - hope you had fun at your first PNW Auto-X. They're usually drier, promise.
Joel - Nice job on your afternoon times! Pretty much pwned us by 4 seconds

:winds up excuse generator: so driving home, I realized that I forgot to adjust my damping. I'm sure my shocks were doing a whole lot of good with less rebound than stock, haha. Rain makes me lazy. R-S3's also SUCK in anything that isn't 70F+ and sunny... I think I need to swap in my all season treadwear 10000's before I run into something.

How damp was it at the end of the day? I left before the second run group in the afternoon (hooray for UW's rent-a-worker -- I rented a worker and got home earlier). By the end of the first run group in the PM, the course was getting moderately dry. Did it get drier? Or did the rain come back?

I got 9 runs (5 AM that includes 1 rerun and 4 PM), and had to have my top up for only 1 AM run... however, I had my wipers running on 3 AM runs. So, it was actually not raining a lot of the time!
