Now for something cool - they made some neat trophies for this event.

I do believe this is the coolest trophy I have ever seen - originally the toy car was a yellow Boxster. While a fine automobile without doubt - I think they are quite homely.

The event folks were kind enough to switch cars for me to something more appropriate



Speaking of chess club - I have the dubious distinction of having gotten my ass kicked throughly in high school by Yasser Seriwan (international grand master) He could play 20 people at one time and smoke us all. He is a really cool guy - you never expect your classmates to rise to such heights.
