*AUTO-X* 10/13 Novice School - Bremerton
The very best way to get started in auto-x or just try it out is a Novice school. Lots of seat time and instruction (and food even!) for $35.00

Man wish I knew about this earlier, I have to give work a notice in advance to take the day off. Will this event be available in the Spring?
p.s
On the lapping day sticky? I read something about a helmet requirement but wonder if you need one for novice level?
Thanks

You will need a helmet for pretty much any autoX, track day, or performance driving school.

Thanks for the info, now I gotta go find a helmet. Will motorcycle helmets such as Shoei and HJC suffice to use for the events?
But read the rules for the specific event you are planning to attend.

Most autocross events have loaner helmets. If you're not sure if you're ever going to do more than this one event, you might want to contact the event organizer to find out if loaner helmets will be available.
