It looks like now the weekend is so so in Lake Placid. Saturday 60% of showers on weather.com Sunday 30% POP Monday 30% POP. We can definitely have the final say tommorow.

so...I just looked now and it looks like rain for Saturday. Everyone still in for going. I just don't know how much I want to hike if it's raining. I guess I will pack gear and see what happens if it rains/ how much......we should talk meeting places....I assume we will take the 416....let's meet somewhere in the south for say 5AM? what do you dudes think?

I'll get a poncho for hiking or something doesn't matter too much, it's an adventure
I'm not sure which way Andrew wanted to go??? If we are going to Cornwall, we might as well just take the 417 or something. If we are crossing at Ogdensburg then we take the 416 I guess.
I think I know some of the roads Andrew is talking about, some nice roads by the rive from Massena to Ogdensburg maybe, I drove from Ogdensburg to Watertown, took the scenic route it was nice.
Anyway, I'm in. Someone make a decision.
We can meet where ever, but if we are taking the 416, I won't meet you downtown that would be silly for me, but if we are taking the 417 that's cool.

I've been watching the short term forecast for 48 hours now, and it is pretty unchanging, so it looks definite (as in, the forecast looks like it has a high degree of confidence). And the forecast is this:
Lake Placid:
rainy and windy on Saturday, with thundershowers. (70% chance)
hot and partly Sunny on Sunday
hot and partly Sunny on Monday.
Now.... I don't know about you guys, but I want to (a) see some views when I hike, which we won't on Saturday, and (b) not get electrocuted in the process, and
