Pics from Adirondack Drive
I'm sure more to come, I didn't take many. But if you couldn't make it, it's too bad, you missed a REALLY good time. Roads were AWESOME, Thanks Andrew!
Check out the highlight road! No cars on it, NEW pavement, Don went up and down this road forever!
Don Coming....
And Going.....
Trek up the Mountain....

Nice. Looks like a good day. Methinks an Adirondack tour with actual healthy physical activity would be a good scheduled event.
The roads are just like I remember them. You can't see the sparkly local aggregate in the road on photos. Smooth windy roads are heaven.

I have got to know what that road was in the first couple of pics...
Ya know, nothing against the big organized runs like the Salamander or the Moose, but I have to confess some of the best drives I have been on have been small little groups. It looks like you guys had 4 cars, very cool.
Oh, and as Spa Leader I would like to humbly point out, even this run was dominated by all those things greater than Berlina...

What a fantastic day for the drive and hike.
I thought that the roads up 307 were fantastic. You people in NY sure have some nice twisty roads. The one blacktop where Don was burning up and down in his Silverstone had to be the highlight. There were however many other favorable mentions. I can imaginethat ther must be dozens of other undiscovered roads that are equally challenging and freshly paved.
The hike was awesome too. I am eager to go with Andrew to some other hills and mountains in the region.
A small group is ideal. I think that anything under 10 people would work well.
I would like to make a proposal that we do this again the first weekend of September (sept long) or the weekend afterwards. Yesterday was just too damm good. To not be able to do it again at least a few more times this year would be dissapointing. I could drive down to the adirondacks easliy once a month to fill the addiction for an aggressive drive.
nice photos, and once I get my webhosting fixed, I will post some pics as well.
