Heya Hapa,
Sorry haven't been around for a few days. The twins are doing great...
Yeah Eric seems to be tearing it up, but i need new tires badly. Not to take away from him, he is a great driver. The last event he took gord's s2k out and beat his time by a full second.
Take Care
Rob

Hey Fongu,
How did you do at the MCO Corel Centre Solo II on Sunday (June 6). I came out to marshal/flag/gawk and do a couple o' ride-alongs (I'm 2 bucks and change so I doubt those poor lads got FTD's with me on board). I believe you were the only S among the cones and you looked smooth smooth on the course. Was FTD that white Miata at somewhere around 68 seconds? One of my favourite cars that day was the RWD turbocharged early '80's Corolla with big-time rust repair and a locked rear dif.
Cheers,
Leif

LOL, I don't know which autocross you saw, but I blew my 2nd and 4th run. The second, I missed the mid-course hard braking zone by a good 2 car lengths and the fourth run did a nice sidway slide into 3 pylons after the high speed slolam. It must be the car that makes me look so good!!!
I was in the 70 second range, the fastest MCO guy was 64-65'ish, while the FTD was 63 (that turbo Miata with the dune buggy super wide tires). This is acutally only my second season, and around the top 25% in times. Still have a long way to go before getting truly fast.
The #2 event was crazy with a 100 participants. We invited the CADL Montreal club and they showed up with 50-60 drivers! The next event will be more normal with around 40 cars and with the new 2 car system it should be easy to do 6-8 runs.
Vike, you should of introduced yourself. So, you going to come out to one of these events?
