The S is so good stock it doesn't need to be modded... that's the point
I agree it's a great platform out of the box, but im liking what im hearing/seeing about the gears. I found someone selling them for a good price. Unless I find an experienced installer, I won't be swapping the FD.

No offense GPW03 but I don't think it's rocket science that you need to be so picky about being so paranoid about finding the "perfect mechanic/technican" to change the gears. I'm sure if you went to any of the 4+ Honda/Acura dealers in the area and interviewed their senior mechanics and asked them how many different gear changes they have done in the past, an experienced mechanic with 15-20+ years experience could do it. My uncle who isn't even a mechanic but has installed a custom turbo in his Integra Type R that he races in professional circuits. Gropos who has a NFR in Ottawa installed his Comptech SC in his S2000 on his own with a friend. I understand if you are no backyard mechanic. I'm not one myself, but it's not like mechanics aren't trained in changing gears or changing and tuning the gear ratios. There will be someone who knows what they are doing in our Ottawa/Hull area of 1.1 million habitants!

I'm one who also agrees that the S is just fine out of the box too! Different strokes for different folks!

Im sure there is someone in our "Ottawa/Hull area of 1.1 million habitants" that could do the job. The point of posting here was to narrow that 1.1 million to a smaller group. I was simply trying to see what others locally could recommend. Turns out because of my post in T.O. forum I found a few that had them installed by Speed Star and are very satisfied with the work with no problems to date. I simply believe in doing it right the first time.
