How's the weather?
I'm flying up to Montreal on the first week of October and I want to know how the weather is normaly in that time of year? I know right now its about 15celcius up there. Is it windy or not? Need to know how to prepare myself cause back home it never gets beneath 24C the whole year. And does will it be snowing this early ofthe year or its a no no? I'm asking due only saw snow once in my life so it will be cool to see it again. Anyways thx in advance for any info.

Usually beginning of October it won't be snowing but it will be 40-60F so if I were you I'd bring some nice warm clothes. Where you are from it sounds like you haven't experienced cold like that too much. If you get outside of downtown you may get to see some of the fall colors.
Montreal is a great city hope you enjoy it!

There will be no lasting snow, there is a small chance of a early storm that melts immediately. Since you are from somewhere that never gets below 20 celsius, I would advise you to dress warmly and have a windbreaker, i.e. light jacket, gloves and warm socks.
Check out the weather stats for Montreal here:

You going to arrive probably a week before the full fall colours before the trees loose their leaves. It's one of the most beautiful times of the year. Old Montreal is also a great tourist place to be.

It's somewhere in Gatineau Park. If you go do the tourist thing there are plenty of walking trails with some historic buildings to visit.
I have some better shots of rock, wood and water textures but no really glorious fall colours. There is that 1-2 week period in October where the colours are the best, as long as there isn't a huge rain storm to knock off all the leaves. Never really tried to go at the exact right time for photos, eventhough it is so close to town.
