Fongu? You have Brakes?
I think my front pads are gone, there doesn't seem to be much thickness there and well, my front left rotor looks like it has 2 lines on it Don't remember if they were there before.
Front left pad looks less than the front right.
I thought you had extra pads? Let me know!

I do have an unused OEM front and rear set. You can have them with my new "employee pricing" promotion!
If you want, I'll use the OEM ones and you can try out the "autcross" pads that are on my car now. They actually have a lot of pad left. They have more bite, but really let go when they overheat on the track. The OEM's are actually better track pads than these GranSport G5's.

Sure, let me know how much. I think my rears are ok, maybe you can check them out, I'm not sure how thick they actually should be, but 44k they probably are close to done.
Maybe next weekend you can drop by with the pads and we can do a swap?
I'd like to bleed my brakes as well since it's never been done, you have a hose thing that will fit on the bleeder?
Anyway, let me know. We can work something out.

Yeah no problemo. I can help you with the pad swap and brake bleeding. You just need some rubber tubing that you can get from Home Depot, I got some somewhere. We might as well bleed the clutch while were at it, since it uses the same brake fluid and it does gum up from the engine heat.

Not sure about that one Simon, but I need to drive my car to Honda tomorrow to get my rubber replaced and I really think that brake on the front left is shot, I never really took it out too look, I'm too lazy.
I'll replace them, if they aren't shot I'll keep the pads as spares incase they do go I can temp swap them right away.

You can see the pad between the rotor and caliper. Bend over man, bend over and look behind those wheels.
Simon, I'm up to disassembling someone elses car. No guarantees on putting things back together.

James, Just means your past the squealing phase
Mine still look good though I have not done any track stuff this year
Just put a fresh set of Porterfield R4-S on the Subie. Can't wait to finish the pad bedding bit.

My tranny tunnel was really hot yesterday for some reason, I think it will be a good idea to change the tranny fluid too.
So I just won $125 gift certificate to crappy tire, can I get all my fluids there?
Oh wait.... no I can't get tranny there can I?
