Hey everyone, I'm planning on going to the F1 race at Gilles Villenueve circuit, June 2011

I'm from O'ahu, Hawai'i & have never been to Montreal or anywhere in Canada. I was just fishing for suggestions on hotels, restaurants, bars, clubs, shopping, things I need to see...basically any input that would make my 1st trip to Canada & outside of the U.S. a memorable one(as if going to an F1 race wasn't enough!).

Hotel: The W
Restos: There are tons
Clubs: Depends on your age and what you like in a club, give me more info and I'll give you info
Shopping: St-Catherines street for average stores, De Maisonneuve for upperclass stuff and underground city for shopping malls.

Things to see... Google it, there's too much to even start lol

 

ill be there to watch this year... driving from NYC.

already booked the hotel... can i just buy the race ticket at the gate or its better to buy online..
