Default burning rubber

OK, I knew it was going to happen if I took it to the track and it was worth every mm.
my current rear tires bridgestone pp 245/40/17's are at the wear bars.
i need to replace them before the next autoX Sept 14.
any suggestions?
i'm looking at more of the same, but if someone knows of a good tire with a wear rating better than 120 and a good price, i would appreciate the tip.
tirerack with a US install seems like the best price, but i would prefer to go with a local.

Falken 452's. I love mine. They grip well, they're good in the rain and they're easy on the wallet!

Dont get the Potenza Poll Position RE960 All Seasons.

They are sticky enough, but they will make you lose to Sam on AutoX daays

sam has an unfair advantage anyway, he's a better driver than i am. also, everyone knows that NFR is a faster colour than SPA.

Bridgestone RE01Rs have good autoX reviews. But I've not tried them myself.

that's what i just burned through. they were great, i probably wasn't.
12,000 kms, 2 autox days and 1 lapping day. mostly highway and no burnouts, outside of track time. i think my spa has a defect though. the accelerator seems to have a magnetic attraction to the floor on track days. like i said, worth every mm.
