Ugh I've decided to NOT get a garage. Money is real tight right now. I'm gonna stick it out for about a year. Good news is there's a supra, SRT-4, prelude, a couple of RSX's, and a few other tuner cars in my parking strip. I'm assuming if those haven't been tampered with then I should be okay for a bit. Thanks again guys. Is there a facebook group or something so I can keep up with meets and what not?

$12.50 a week? Seriously? That's hitting Happy Hour one day a week.

I dont think you understand my situation. I'm now a student living on bare to minimal income. I have just enough for rent and food. A garage is a luxury I simply cant afford right now. They quoted me $75 now, not $50. Honestly, if it gets stolen it gets stolen. My priority right now is school.

I lived at Park Central (near Millenia) for a year. They too were gated (not too hard to get in, though) and they did have security personnel drive through the parking lot several times a day and night. Never had an issue with my S parked outside. And I was working from home so there was plenty of time for people to see it and make a move.

Leave an empty .40cal shell on/in the console somewhere and carry a pistol case to and from the car on occasion ... that's what I did. I'd like to think it helped.

This actually sounds like a good idea. I had a bunch of empty shells in my car at one point that I forgot about. When I took my car to get detailed they were just like wtf. Every time I went back after that they gave me a discount...lol

I live across the street in the houses, my s2000 is parked outside, my srt4 is parked outside, ls/vtec civic that screams I have tons of aftermarket $$ outside and no one's ever messed with them, 3 years now... Guy on the other side of street has a silver AP2 and a jdm front Integra, really nice EJ1 and MR2 at front of neighborhood. My guess is that the area isn't great so maybe car thieves know everyone owns a gun around here :/

From Orlando love my city but the rep is true. Garage it,have had my convertible knifed twice a system stolen. I live in a nice gated community as well, by UCF. If your apartment has a garage well worth the investment.
