WORST NIGHT EVER
A couple of you know about this figure I would share with the others.
It started about 6:00pm I was on my way to the Mother in laws. As I pulled away
from a stop light I smelled oil burning looking in my mirrors I see my car is
covering the cars behind my in a huge cloud of smoke.
So I pull over and find out that my oil filter had come off. So I thought my night
could not get worse. I call a tow truck Two hours later it show up and then I find
out I don't have a tow hook in my car so the driver had no way to get my car on
the flat bed. "THANKS TO GARRET" I got a tow hook at 9:15pm. Got my car to
Forged Proformance at 11:00 "THANKS TO JOHN " for staying late to find out what
the problem was. I found out that the post that holds the oil filter to the block had
come loose and blew out the O-ring. So "THANKS AGAIN TO JOHN" who gave me a
ride home at 12:00pm my car is now fixed and back on the road with a $2.50 O-
ring causing me a night of terror.
So I just want to say to everyone DON"T TAKE THE TOW HOOK OUT OF YOUR CAR
AND CHECK YOU OIL FILTER.
Here is the pic of the puddle of oil My car left in parking lot I stopped in.
and here is the pic of my car leaving on the tow truck.

Very fortunate to catch yours when you did. I remember burning the engine up in my 92 Prelude when the company I had change my oil put the wrong filter on and I pumped all my oil out on the freeway at 70mph.
Glad you were able to get the help you needed, even though it was really late.
