mucter: I don't have their info right now but they are in CALI about 60 miles from my house there.

It was expensive - we did all the labor work in taking the rims apart and the finish was just under $1000 including shipping to do the 4 rims.

I know the SSR's are said to be soft but I've tracked my m3 many times and so far no issues....and they do look great plus super easy to clean

Wow..
Powdercoating my 4 wheels (no labor of taking them apart) including sandblasting was just under $400. It included a clear coat, too! I can't say enough good things about the company.
Powder Coating Systems Inc. in Tacoma.

I ordered my wheels just now. But they only had SILVER in stock for my sizes!!! WTF!!! So I will definitely be powdercoating them. If they had Gold in stock, I may have kept it. But damn... It's pretty much guarenteed Gloss Black now... I hate silver wheels, especially on a WHITE car. AHHH
But I will still hold up the RGII in Gold.

Wyatt, I think it had something to do with the special "chrome" finish that was applied to the wheel and also the lip section too.

The labor to ship the rims both ways and also the removal of all the bolts / glue to take the rims apart was a serious PITA

But this wheel shines like no other wheel....another downfall is it's a bit heavy I'm sure for this finish compared to regular paint but oh wellz.
