Default Track Day at the legendary Laguna Seca!

At the request of a close friend, he wanted me to let everyone know about the opportunity to track your s2000 at the legendary track: Laguna Seca

The dates are June 30th-July 1st 2012
The cost is $320 per person + $20 for timing.
The location is SW of Sacramento near Monterey Bay, California.

This also coincides with the s2k challenge

There is no extra cost to run in the challenge if any decides to participate.

The track has a 92dB noise limit

Any questions PM SoMe0nE2tAlK2

The Track!

Oh man, I wanna go.

Last time i did a track day in CA though, i nuked the hell out of my car at Thunderhill. I'm skeptical of driving there and back, but if someone has a trailer, i'll kick in on fuel/mileage! I <3 LS, want pics of my current S2k there, have pics of the old one and my Miata there.

If you have a cat and/or your car doesn't rasp, you can just lift as you go by the sound check.

you can use a phone to get a rough estimate. Have a friend on a (safe, isolated) street holding a phone with a dB meter app, and drive by him WOT.

I know some that managed to get by at Laguna by adding temporary downward tips so the sound waves are not projected towards the sensors... ugly but a minor change for the day.

Unfortunately it seems that the event is already sold out, few of my friends that signed up are on wait lists.
Who'd have thought this would sell out 3 months in advance.
