They are a quiet tire, at least on my car, (thanks again Brandon for the Greddy Ti-C)
Is the Greddy too loud for you That's what the silencers are for

I think I am going to go for the Greddy Ti-C on my new ride. I love that exhaust. The sound and the look is top notch

Thanks for the info guys, gonna look into it a little more. I didn't realize that you couldn't get like 100k tires for an s2000

I'm also not sure if I should get some wheels to go with the new tires or just get the tires and keep the AP2 wheels

Actaully Pirelli is making a 99,000 mile tire - I have been told none of them make it that far - not really a suprise.

Amy said once that she had a tire salesman who said she would get the mileage rating out of her tires or they would replace them free

I wish I could get that.

"how many miles out of these T1Rs"

"about 40-50k"

20k later "Yeah, these didnt last, I want new ones free"

I honestly don't know how much tires cost. I was thinking like 200 per tire ish, does that sound like in range of what tires normally cost?

You may also need to factor in the price of mounting and balancing, too.

I bought a new set of rear OEM tires last summer. Ron Tonkin met the Tire Rack price and quoted $50 per tire for mounting and balancing. However, they had a lot of trouble mounting the tires on my custom wheels and said next time they would have to charge $100 per wheel.

Huh. I'm more used to paying $50 total for mounting and balancing all four wheels.
