Stonehenge Revisit - Join Us!
.................................................. ..........................................
.................................................. ...........Stonehenge! Here we come!
..............................................
...................It's time for us to return to the site that, for many of us, started it all!
This will be an all-inclusive drive taking us through some of the gorgeous countryside and best back roads the Columbia gorge has to offer.
This drive will not be a long time commitment and should be a morning departure around 8:30am and returning around 4-5pm
depending on if we get access to the special areas (see below). We will update the timing as we finalize the options.
...
...
We will enjoy a nice leisurely cruise up the gorge before branching off and
experiencing some of the great back areas around Klickitat and routing around
through Goldendale and down to Stonehenge for a quick photo-op.
...
...
Lunch will be on your own, but (weather permitting) highly suggested to bring a
picnic lunch and blankets and we will be able to picnic on the Maryhill Museum grounds and
maybe share them with the local peacocks. (No, we are kidding. Don't feed the birds)
The Maryhill Museum has a cafe you can buy lunch from, *however* it requires you to pay the admission fee to the museum to get to.
If you want to call in a boxed lunch order, it is $11.50 and can be picked up from the front without having to pay the admission fee.
After we spend some time admiring the views and taking photos,
we will make our way across the river and return
home to Portland along the Oregon side of the river.
...
Your CO's are also working on trying to set up some special access if it is deemed possible. We are hoping to:
1) Grounds access for the cars at the historical Maryhill Museum for a unique Photo-op.
...
More info will follow as we receive it. It may take some time before we can persuade the Maryhill overseers to allows us to use these special facilities.
Don’t miss out on this one!

...................S2Ki Oregon - The fun starts here! ...
In the event of inclement weather we will automatically postpone to the following weekend – April 30th. If that day is also rainy, we will cancel and plan to meet up for our May ”Painted Hills drive” :
...
Note:This is the Oregon S2000 Owners Forum. As such, our drives are exclusively for S2000s and their owners in Oregon and S.W. Washington.
Our drives are not open to the general public, which includes those who used to own an S2000, hope to own one, those with similar cars, or those who think the drive we've put together sounds fun and would like to tag along, etc.
We are not trying to be snobby here, but are trying to clarify what we are about – The fun and adventure of Honda S2000 ownership.
