Tony, I can't tell you how sad and devastating this is. I'm so sorry this happened to you my friend.

Thanks for the pics and info. We all know that the parts you had on your car are going to desirable in the s2000 community, everyone should keep an eye out.

Tony good luck, I hope the best for you.

First, did you try to call towing company around the area?
possibly ask the police if they can provide you some information on it.
I hope this is the case.

I understand how it feels. My EM1 got stolen right in front of my house. Heart dropped.

This piss me off! I will keep an eye out for you! What kind of security did you have on the car? Clutch or wheel lock?

Did you try to ask your neighbors and the people around the complex?

So sorry to hear, Tony.

I hope someone took it for a joyride (still scumbags) and it will be found very soon. I have been reading the progress you were making on your car and was planing to check it out this Saturday.

Please let us know if there are any other identifiable traits on your car as some of the bolt on parts may be removed right away and driven around by the thieves.

Things like this want me to get together with a bunch of S2K and other car buddies and form a secure storage area for our prized autos.

So sorry ......

I will absolutely do it before you do anything else.
The first time is very important in order to get your car back.
Try also talk to State patrol department.

Portland is a small down so we wont be surprised if your parts start showing up in places, or there's someone else witb a gpw with just with new parts. Again, these kind of thefts are not crimes of opportunity but passion. I'd start by thinking about any suspicious people around your car or anything unusual. I wouldnt be surprised if the theif knows you one way or another and they rarely go a very far distant to steal a car. I have added security to counter such thefts, ask me how. Good luck and lets just "hope" that your car was a victim of only a joy ride where nothing was really taken although each one of our members' car gets stolen the conclusion is a stripped chassis and barely recognizeable. Best of luck to you. Keep us informed.
You cannot joy ride without the key.
If they manage to start the car, they must want it so bad.
I never see a real stolen S2000 story with proof of picture yet. Where's the "each one of our member"?
