This Saturday, Nov. 15. we are supposed to have a bonus day. The weather channel is calling for 57 and sunny......I want to take advantage of the last sunny weekend day we may get for a while.

Here is the proppsed plan:
Meet up at 9:00 at the McDonalds in North Plains- This is the one we met at for the Astoria Drive. We will leave at 9:30.

We will follow the same route up to Astoria (Vernonia, Mist, Jewel). Once in Astoria we will grab some lunch at TBD.

After we are done in Astoria, we will head south on 101 to Cannon Beach and drive up to Ecola State Park ($3.00 day use fee). There are some great views down to Cannon Beach and some nice trails to hike on. And the road into the park is curvy.

After the park we will head back into town on 26.

Sorry for the change, but the group has spoken and the coast does sound much better.

The drive will be a total of 175 miles round trip North Plains to North Plains.

I say let's redo the Astoria drive!!! no one will get lost because we all have done it and it's fun to...

 

A trip to the coast sounds nice too, I down for where every we go.

 

I'm free this Saturday and I don't care where we going......My car is begging me to drive her out I guess she's getting bored staying in the garage for quite sometime. but I need to be home though before 5:00 PM for the Blazers game. Who else are going?

Not my drive, not my concern

 

I'll join the drive, but I will only go part way to Astoria. I've had a loooong couple days at work and I'm just interested in seeing what my new S can do on the open road.
