As we walked near Cesar’s Palace (no Cesar did not sleep there) we ran into the Rascal club.

That drive down you guys took looks so awesome
Care to post up the route?
Here is the link to a google map of the route we took down the coast to Santa Monica.

Let me know if you have any questions. It will be just as fun going north as it was south!

Hmm. You guys didn't do as much of CA-1 as I thought you were doing. It's certainly slower so might have been a good idea to just hit those fun bits at the north end (:

We made a concentrated effort to avoid much of the 1 Hwy. My only intent from the begining was to do that small section from Legget to Ft. Bragg as those looked like the roads with the most excitement in them.

I will probably go back and do the entire length of the 1 Hwy some day, just to say I did it.

The area just north of San Francisco looks really great, but I bet there is more traffic there and probably patrolled more regularly.

Here it is - 3 days later -

I have finally gotten to download, convert edit and upload the video clips from our trip down to HC. 3 days of driving has been condensed into a single 9:48 video. Due to high levels of wind noise and Brian and I chatting, I stripped the sound and added a little music to the mix. Enjoy as I take those of you who were unable to drive with us along on the journey down 199 to 101 to 1 all the way to Torrance.
