Ridiculous lawsuit
There is no end to the asinine behavior of American citizens.

The short version:
Two kids in a Mustang traveling in excess of 80 MPH on a 30 MPH road.
Lose control, crossing into oncoming lanes.
Head-on with a minivan.
All members go to the hospital with broken bits.
Minivan driver sues Mustang driver's insurance for $88,000 for medical expenses (broken hip and leg, etc).
PASSENGER of Mustang is suing the minivan driver for failing to get out of the way. Nearly half a million dollars in medical expenses.
"Basically, under Massachusetts law I'm trying to get compensation for my client anywhere I can," Hughes (the suing lawyer) said yesterday.
Is it wrong that I want to shoot the Mustang driver, passenger and lawyer in the face?

Just because he filed suit doesn't mean it will actually make it to court before being thrown out. Nonetheless the mustang driver needs a beating for sure.

Well, I'm a lawyer (for non-profit corp.), but I would personally spank the idiot lawyer for filing a frivolous lawsuit 
Not all lawyers are ambulance chasers. Hope the case gets dismissed and his client gets tagged with the other side's fees (a point this lawyer seems not to care about).
