In any case some of you PDX guys want to get in a track day before the season ends....
I may show up as an instructor, but I'm still on the fence about it.

Hi Ted,
Ah, my bag, I'm sorry. I've got a rollbar, so I no longer pay attention to this issue.
Here's what the Audi website says about the issue:

The event is now full on Saturday, but there are spaces open on Friday. I'm going as an instructor for half of Friday, but I've got commitments that afternoon and on Saturday.

For those of you who thought about coming to this event but bagged, you missed a great day. The weather, after the fog burned off, was perfect. Warm enough to get the tires hot, but cool, with blue skies. The event was nicely run. The Audi Club does a nice event, complete with lunch provided, and the atmosphere was casual without being careless. All in all, it was a geat day. I had two students, one in a BMW 320, the other in an Audi S4. Both were attentive and thoughtful, and I never once got that, "oh sh&%t" feeling that comes from being captive in a sports car being driven by someone with more adrenaline than skill.
