Default Pics from a recent tour

The wifey and I went for a little drive on the fourth. Our drive tokk us from Redmond to Sisters and then out the Scenic Highway 242. The road was closed about 20 miles out but it still made for a great scenic drive. Thought I would share our pics.

Here are some random view pics:

And here are a couple of/from the S:

Here is a couple of a friend we made and one of me and the wifey:

Thanks for looking,

Brandon

Got some great shots of Mt. Washington there!
Nice stuff

Seeing those just makes me look forward to 242 opening fully even more
I'm gonna need new tires by the end of summer the way I'm going

If you still want to take that test run, I have plenty of free time this weekend (for once).

I have a wedding to go to this weekend but I think that is it. I know I have to get some yard work done before the wifey leaves me but besides that I am open. I will give you a call if I get a chance this weekend

Thanks

I wish that mirror pic would have come out a little more clear. It is amazing to see all that "dead" land. There is virtually no life for hundreds of acres where all this lava flow is

One of the most fun roads in OR.
Scenic Route 242 aka the Old Mckenzie Pass highway which starts/ends in Sisters, OR and The McKenzie River area on the way to Eugene.

If you want technical twisties, drive there.

Tight hairpins, blind corners, and a good feel for the high desert on one side (sagebrush, juniper), lava flows in the middle, and lush green woods on the valley side.

Can you tell I'm a fan??

So far of all the roads I have been on with the S this is by far the best one. It has amazing views and some of the best technical twisties I have been on just like Aaron mentioned.
