Ihad the 255/35/18 and 225/40/18. If you are going with the invos, then go with the 245, if not, get the nto5s, i like em better.

I know the stock AP2's are 245. The 2nd number is the height of the tire itself right? 255/40 ?

Yep second number determines the sidewall which helps determine the over all height of the tire. Just because a tire is a 255 doesnt mean its the same width from brand to brand. Kind of like shoes. I wear a 12 in nike and a 13 in adidas. I've had some 245s be just as wide as some of my 255's but they were different manufacturers. So you might not lose any performance per say. Check to see how wide they are in inches. Should be around 10"

I'll PM you with a price on the RE-11s

Yeah they are.

The Invo's are 255/50 instead of the normal 255/40. I didn't realize that 10mm was enough of a difference to not work well.

Dropping down to 245/40 is just something I thought of because I wanted to try out the tire unless 255/50 would fit somehow.

Roger, yeah that would be great 255/40 17. If you could, could you include the price for the re070 as well?

Thanks a lot

Yeah the 255/50's probably wouldnt work so well. theyve got a 27" diameter and your RE070's have a 25" diameter so i'm thinking that would be bad.

The 255/40 RE070's you have on there now are 9.8" wide and the Nittos you were looking at in a 245/40 are 9.76" wide so you're really not losing anything if you go with the Nittos. Hope that helps your decision.

I'll get to you soon on those prices. I have to call the warehouse.

The second number is not he millimeters Ira, it is a ratio of the first number.

the second number is the percent of the tire width that is sidewall height. examples below.

255/50 has 127.5 mm of sidewall height
and a 245/40/17 has 98 mm of sidewall height.
