Default New Rear Tires

I'm getting ready for the mutha this weekend...oil change, fluids check, car wash, tire check...hold on, wait a minute, my rears are worn. Now I know the roads that we'll be taking this weekend, so I KNOW that I can't go with bad tires, I want every thing in tip top shape for this weekend, so I went down to America's Tire Co.

Wait a minute...when I bought my tires, they told me that there's a 40,000 mile warranty, and when I told some of you guys then, you laughed.

Well...I went down there and they agreed that the tires were worn and I need new ones on the back, and they DO have a 40,000 mile warranty. I've only driven them for roughly 20,000 miles, so I got them for 1/2 price. $75 a piece for Potenza RE960as. If you're looking a some good all season tires, I highly recommend these. Not only have I enjoyed driving on them, they really don't feel like all season tires. AND you KNOW as well as I do, that they're not going to last 40,000 miles, so why not get them so that you get a discount on your next set of excellent tires.

wow! that's a great deal, Amy Potenzas are always great tires....but i don't think they'll last for 40,000 miles though. if i can remember ...oh, yeah when i first got the supercharger 5 yrs ago and i still have the potenzas... i think the rear only lasted 10,000 probably because of this

Yes Marc, my other Potenzas never reached 20,000, that's why when they said 40,000 miles warranty...I said "I'll take them". 40,000 miles - yeah, right.

If anybody is interested in buying new tires I work for a Bridgestone dealer and I can get you guys tires at cost. I believe the Bridgestone Potenza RE960 AS Pole Position in a 225/50/16 are about $130 each and the Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport in a 225/50/16 are about $105 each. Let me know if I can help.

Yeah I work at shop in Clackamas. And I would definitely give you guys a break on labor. We have an older tire machine so I can't mount 18's. We have a new alignment machine so we can do pretty much any set up you want. But what ever you guys might be interested in just let me know the size and tire you want and I'll get you an exact price.
