Yep, another request for help. I promise to be more self-sufficient once I've gotten settled and know some folks in Portland. Task II on the relocation list is buying a third car, as my S isn't terribly practical in the wet, and we're looking for something with a bit more utility (the wife owns a Civic). An Element's under serious consideration. Does anyone know anyone who works at a Honda dealership or have suggestions for buying one?

Only word of advise is to wait until end of the year. They are still charging well over MSRP... but if you wait until holiday season, you might be able to pick one up just a little over invoice.

Please the weather don't really get that bad until November... The fall in Oregon is beautiful... one of my favorite reasons for moving here.

Last time I bought my Accord I went straight past the salesmen and went to the fleet manager. Got $1000 over invoice. (Less rare models were cheaper.) Even got all of my accessories at a discounted price. You just can't be expecting to drive it off the lot that day though.

Don't know if they can work with the Element though. I know they can't do S2000s.
