I remember reading somewhere that once you adjust the latch you have to press firmly to shut it , no more droping the hood shut.
good luck! I will try to see if I can find more on the issue

thanks guys,
i have tried to push down on the hood with firm force but no luck. and the spoon one i got mike is the non cut version, thats why i am wondering if im missing some step on making this fit properly. the fit looks snug and perfect with no gaps anywhere at all.
hey ap2autox, your hood has the buldge for the indentation though ya?

yea I was thinking about my stock hood but I cut my hood also. what help that was haha. but yea I think you have to cut the hood. I have my stock hood still if you want to do a test fit to see if you need to cut it.
