looks like the pricing has been released $119 for one side or $199 for both. a bit steep. was hoping it was about half of that.

Yeah, that price is too high for sure. That piece of aluminum isn't even that thick. If you could get a good grip on this sides, I bet you could pull downward with a pair of vice grips and it would crack.

Here's a better option for the same price

I'll probably be really pissed when someone steals my hardtop, but I honestly can't imagine spending any amount of money on something like that. I might not even install them if someone GAVE them to me.

Here's an idea - don't leave your car in sketchy areas. Just saved you $200 and probably a lot more by keeping you out of bad areas.

I don't think I would be installing those. If someone wants something bad enough, they will get it. Locks only keep the lazy thiefs from taking your items.

Currently the HT is on my car and it is not garaged all the time right now. I have insurance, so in the event it does get swiped, or any other major part of the car, I will just pay the deductible and get another one.

I very rarely leave my car someplace I don't trust (other than that night in P & E's driveway ). I know it is tough on those that rely on the S as a DD, but just take all the extra precautions to keep it safe.
