I agree 12 noon at hte backside of the Chevron.........
Which Chevron???

Also, of those that are going on this drive, who would be interested in going up to Goldendale to have a photo shoot at the StoneHenge. Goldendale is about an hour and a half from Portland. We would have to make arrangements with the MaryHill Museum if we wanted to use the StoneHenge for a photo op.

Ok, here is my proposed drive route if we want to do the stonehenge thing --->>

Red = The way there, Blue = the way back

(Click on it twice and then magnify it for full size...)

Hwy 14 is a awesome drive, but the only downfall to this drive would be the amount of time spent on 84 (boring drive). We could come back part of the way back on hwy 14 and cross over at the bridge of the gods if we wanted to, then we would only have a small stretch of 84 to travel before getting off to head to the columbia river hwy.

Total mileage for this drive would be around 250 miles and probably 4 hours or so drive time only, plus time @ stonehenge ect....

What do you guys think?

It looks great. Good plan

I think that even though 84 is boring it might give a good mix to the rest of the drive , but I am cool with going back part way on 14 too!

OK, so I just called the museum up there and they informed me that we do NOT need to make a reservation(my bad) . That is only for people who will be using the pics for commercial use and selling or making money off the pics.

I told the organizer there that we will be coming up on the 17th and he "penciled us in" so that they don't reserve it for someone else. He said that we will be able to get pretty close to the monument and there is a flat gravel area in front that works great to line cars up for a pic

You know if we get some good pics you guys are going to have to help me create a cool pic for my sig. I am artistically challenged

Is there anyway to get pictures from film to a digital print??? Are there any photo shops that will scan photos and put them on a disk for you? I know these may be stupid questions but I am an idiot when it comes to photography
