Default Good local shop?

Hello all-
Question on having maintenance done on the S-
I don't have the space for it. Nor is it my forte, but reading posts around here have spooked me about letting dealers touch the car.
So...Does anyone have maintenance/fluid changes--diff etc. done at a local shop or dealer.
I took my S to the Parker Johnstone's Honda in wilsonville for an oil change/brake fluid change right after I purchased the car. Hoping their racing owner would employ s2000 savvy staff. The folks were nice enough, if not as seemingly well informed as the people here.
They let me know there was a spark plug recall that we should take care of next time I brought the car in. I need the rear diff and tranny fluid replaced relatively soon and could have the recall done then if it seems they can do the fluid changes competently.
Does anyone else here have experience with this dealer? Or another shop they could recommend/trust for routine work?
Thanks.

I have a ton of experience with this dealer. Two of my good friends are mechanics for them and one of by best friends is the head mechanic. Take it there have 3 of my Hondas that all go to them for service. Ask for Paul Nix to work on your car. Great guy and very knowledgeable. If you have any questions email me at blackandivorynsx@msn.com. Paul has done timing belts on numerous cars of mine and also all fluid flushes and regular maintence.

I go to Todd's import in LO for all my regular maintenance type work. They specialize in honda and toyota only, and has been in business for over 20+ yrs I belief.

What's going on with turnover there? Haven't they had 4 or 5 service managers in the last few years?

Yes they have been through service managers. People just dont get along or they see other opportunities. Great dealer but yes like any car dealer turnover is there.

As for hookups I do have a lot. Its not what you know but who you know and considering I have owned 6 hondas now I should have hookups. And my dad worked for a Honda dealership.
