Default front tire rubbing...help

Hey guys,

I just got some wheels and the fronts are rubbing on hard cornering and slight dips. The fronts are 17x7.5 +50 with 225's. I'm lowered on Espelir and Koni's. What can I do? Switch to 215's? Camber it?

They're rubbing on the outside...more on the driver side than passenger. I just had an alignment done but the guy didn't everything old school....by feel. No electronic computer and such. I just hope he didn't toe me out too much.

Hmmm. I dont rub on my 7.5 +48 with a 225 in front. I think my front end is around the same height as yours, maybe lower. Alignment might be the issue.

Yeah, I was afraid that may be the issue. I'll have to drop by goodyear by Forge next week to correct this. Sucks, I just pad 80 bucks too.

Get your money back. Tell him if its out of spec when you have it done somewhere else you'd like a refund.

Actually, the guy did a good job. I just think it's back to OEM spec and I need a little camber up front to prevent rubbing. I don't doubt the guy's ability. Just because someone with experience does something a little different than norm doesn't mean he's incompetent.

Thanks for the suggestion Ira.
