Default First post, new S2K owner, w/ a quick question...

Hello all. I'm a new S2K owner (about 3 weeks under my belt) - I picked up an AP2 / 2006 (Silver) and I've subsequently fallen in love.

I've already met Geoff (heavenlyhonda?) when I took it in to have a new Kenwood head unit installed at Car Toys, and he was great. Hopefully soon I'll join up on one of these drives before the weather turns too nasty and meet some more peeps.

Question: I need to replace the antenna (somebody ripped it off before I bought it, so I'm rockin the electrical-tape-covered look right now), and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions of where to look and/or what to buy. I've already noticed that there are some after-market "stubby" antennas available, but I was wondering which ones are good/recommended, etc.

Thanks,

Caleb

Welcome!

I can get a factory replacement from Honda for $19.22 with my discount if your interested. I don't have a line on an after market one though.

With our antennas fitting the 350z and Celica among other cars, it's pretty popular to get ripped off. When you get a new one, be sure to hit it with some locktite.

I seem to recall most group buys for S2k antennas being around the $19 range from my Celica days, so Roger is right in the ballpark.
I would just go that route, personally.

And welcome!

Thanks for the pointers guys (especially good to know about the Celica/Z fitment)...

SickShift: I'll PM you about that OEM deal - sounds like as good of a route as any.
