just had a thought...
the shop is called alpine auto body, they only do body work.
i forgot to tell them, it really screwed up my suspension. the car doesnt drive straight at all. will they fix that? should i call them in the morning? i dont want a perfect car that doesnt drive straight.

A body shop will normally be in the business of repairing damaged cars, suspension, frame, interior and all.
If there is something they don't do in-house, they will farm it out (many shops do this for interior work by sending it to an upholstry shop) but is included in their bid to your insurance.

That really sucks for your baby and the dog.
The body shop will be able to fix the body damage as well as any suspension damage. If an alignment is needed and they don't have the capability then they usually will have a shop that they contract with. Just call to confirm it doesn't hurt but gives you peace of mind.
BTW Keep us updated on the outcome and how they treated (positive or negative)you so we can have them as a resource.

Sorry to hear about the accident, also feel bad for the dog's owner. Seems like we have a curse on NFRs around here. The few ones we know of are having some problems ... the other one got stolen recently....
Wishing you good luck with the fix, looks like it is a good body shop.

Ouch man.
Alpine'll take care of you, they did the repairs on my WRX when a guy hit me. Just take a close look at everything when you get it back (paint color, texture, body seams, etc) and don't be afraid to make them fix it until it meets your satisfaction. They have a lifetime warranty, and they're not mean about having to use it. They took good care of me, even when I saw a small issue they needed to fix.
