Default A few weeks after i got my s2000.. wrecked!

so i was driving to clark for classes at around noon, going about 55mph down 503 maybe two or three car lengths behind a bmw. When a dog sitting on the side of the road decides it wants to jump out in front of my car...
and it totally destroyed my passenger headight, and the front bumper and passenger fender were like ripped apart and bent up. so i took it to ALPINE auto body on fourth plain.

Just wondering if any of you ever heard of them? do they do good work.

PS.
the dog didnt make it..
and the loaner that they gave me.. a four door kia spectre.
and i have a 750 dollar deductible.

my day sucked.

Is $750 your comp or collision deductible? Your accident should go under as a comp claim. That sucks though.

sorry to hear. I feel for you.
After a year with mine, I got T-boned.

I got a Taurus as my loaner

Cant comment on the bodyshop quality unfortunately. At least it sounds like it'll be a pretty easy fix without too much hassle with getting everything done right.

That's sad! at least your okay. Alpine body shop are pretty good. I've heard a lot of good things about them from my friends. Good luck.

you know what was funny.
my dad told the guy at ALPINE, that this was a nice car, and he doesnt care what the insurance says, he only wants oem parts on the repair, no aftermarket. the guy said that insurance writes it in their contract to use the cheapest stuff they can find, so they had no control. he then said he'd call around, and in the end, there are no aftermarket parts made for the s2000!!!! score.

That's a painful sight, for sure. Sounds like the shop is already taking good care of you. Glad to hear that.
