IMHO it's just for looks. Blanks and good pads will do the job. Careful with cross drilled and slotted rotors as they have the tendency to crack from past experience.

^ not always true

I would say what's ur motivation? Do. You want better feeling or just the look... OEM rotors with upgraded pads and ss lines will make for much better feel. Slotted rotors will look better... if you want to stop sooner. Big brakes

I don't think it matters though 'cause on our stock front brakes the caliper has only one piston and also how good the brand of tires on braking performance. Unless you get a big brake kit then it's totally different story.

Check this BBK on Ferrari and Lamborghini.

I went through brakes for several years of track work and concluded...

1) The stock brakes are more than adequate although the OEM pads are good for street, not track.

2) The only change needed for track other than pads is cooling... a mod to cool the front brakes helps a lot.

3) OEM or equivilent rotors are the way to go for track. Drilled or slotted are fine for street, offering a different look not a performance change.

4) Some have observed somewhat faster pad wear with drilled or slotted rotors.
