Dyno tuned my 06 today at Performance Race Engineering
I got a chance to have Bobby at Performance Race Engineering to flash pro tune my S2000. All i gotta say is WOW! The throttle response, driveability, and smooth engagement into vtec is second to none. Bobby has set the vtec to 5500 as this was the cross point where it made the most power from lowering the vtec all the way down and having the vtec point set at high. Rev limiter is set at 8700 but currently shifting around 8500. Not that i'll ever use it but my launch controller is set at 5200rpms.
100% bone stock when i first bought the car three years ago ran;
201whp and 142wtq
Mods are K&n fipk intake, headers (top speed i think?), 63.5mm berk high flow cat, invidia Q300 catback, and the hondata flash pro;
229whp and 170wtq
Thanks to Paul II for talking me into this. I wish i would of gotten this setup when it first came out. You are right about the engagement into vtec, you don't get that kick anymore. It just pulls and pulls until redline. For those that are still NA and have the 06+ s2000's, flash pro is a must! You will not be disappointed. Thanks to Marc and Dj mike for stopping by and keeping me company.

Huy, It does drive different but soooo smooth. The mid range power is what i was looking for. This is where the S lacks of. Peak torque on the graph shows 170tq at around 6000rpms
