We had a great drive today!

We met up at the Home Depot in Oregon City:




Then it was on up into the Cascades and Willamette National Forest:


We arrived at Detroit lake right on schedule and found Aaron and Teresa who had secured a spot for us:


We had a nice shady picnic area overlooking the busy lake:

Following lunch we headed on down to Silver Falls:

Everyone had a good time - it was a beautiful drive, and good social times together.

Thanks to everyone who participated! Doug did an outstanding job of leading the group all day. Thanks to Aaron and Teresa for site-sitting.

We enjoyed talking with Chris and Julie , Dave and Janice , Aaron and Teresa , Huy and Sandi (still experiencing "honeymoon jet-lag"), and Doug and Bill . It was also nice to meet our first-timers - Mike and Sherry .
