I don't know if John would be able to diagnose it at your place 
A lot of times if you have AAA+ they will tow it to any shop within 75 miles. The cost of a 1 yr membership is probably cheaper than the tow would be without it.

I have AAA and I'm pretty sure only the first 3 miles are free then you pay... I wanna say $2.50 a mile after or just $2. I can't remember. It's worth it though to not ruin your car.

Check craigslist "services" section, if you do not have AAA there are lots of people who will tow your car for 20-40 dollars locally. Also if you over revved your engine then you probably bent a valve or cracked a retainer. Check your oil for metal shavings and pull your spark plugs and see if any are damaged.
