Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone knows a good car wash place in Eugene? I live in an apartment, so I'm not able to wash it myself unless I take it to a self service bay. I'm preferably looking for one where they hand wash and detail the car. I have a silverstone hardtop, so I might be willing to take it to a machine wash. However, I still would like to go to a hand detailed place.
Thanks!

Whatever you do don't take it through one of those machine washes. It'll leave swirl marks on your paint.

Taking it through those machine wash will damage your paint giving it a dull look after a couple washes. If you can't find any place that hand washes then your second best choice are those places that have bays that has those power washers. Just be sure to bring lots of quarters.

It would be better to wash it yourself, if you're willing, at a self-wash.
Use the pressure washer to rinse (low pressure) and then switch to soap and coat the car, let it soak. (works like a foam gun).
while it's soaking, you can fill your own wash bucket with soapy water from the gun. Wash the car, then rinse with the wand and dry with a towel. Apply your own wax of choice and buff, then drive off. Would take you all of about 30 mins most. Usually most self-serves have rules against bucket washing if there is a crowd, so doing it in the later evening is best.
You will never (in my opinion) get a "good" wash from any "quantity over quality" wash place where they want to get as many cars through as possible. If you find a good detailer shop, you will pay a LOT for even just a simple wash when you can do it yourself for $2 in quarters and a bucket/mitt.

Besides, the manual says not to use them.
