Fossil Drive - Saturday July 15th 2023 Join Us for the fourth official drive of the 2023 season as we drive atop the lava fields of Central Oregon Drive time: 7.5 hours including lunch/stops and 324 miles
When was the last time you ventured deep into Central Oregon? We're not talking Boutique'y Bend here. Come along on this one day drive that will take us through sage brush canyons, super tight roads, rural towns and a whole bunch of fun in the Sun ending in the small town of Fossil, OR for a great lunch with friendsWe will be starting in the Troutdale Area at 8:30am
We'll begin our drive next to the Columbia River before carving some canyon roads …
As we venture deep into the sage brush territory, we'll drop our tops (if they're not already down) to enjoy the warm breeze and dry desert air Finally landing in the small town of Fossil Oregon to enjoy some country hospitality.
We'll be making the most of the endless curves and twists as we leave the small ghost town of Shaniko. This is a fairly challenging drive involving tight corners, switchbacks and a need to watch for bicyclists, and other oncoming cars on some of the tighter sections.

Note:This is the Oregon S2000 Owners Forum. As such, our drives are exclusively forS2000 and NSX's and their owners in Oregon and S.W. Washington.
Our drives are not open to the general public, which includes those who used to own an S2000, hope to own one, those with similar cars, or those who think the drive we've put together sounds fun and would like to tag along, etc.
We are not trying to be snobby here, but are trying to clarify what we are about – The fun and adventure of Honda S2000 ownership.
Great pics of an excellent drive Ira! Thanks! And thanks to all who made it so enjoyable: Ira and Wes for organizing, Doug and Aaron for leading (PERFECT pace Doug!), and John, Dave, Connor and Ky for being such good companions to share the road (and lunch) with. Let's do it again!
