This was taken on Sunday morning 9/13 early in the morning by Paul. We left the chateau after breakfast and immediately jumped onto this road to come down the mountain, it took a few miles for my tires to warm up...but once they were warm, OMG it was fun. I was leading, so you don't see any of the other S2000's, behind me were Larry & Debbie, Garret & Brian, Chris & Amy, Marc & Rachel and Ken & Jody.
The sensation of speed simply doesn't exist in that video. I swear we were travelling at 100 ... percent of the speed limit. This winter I might treat myself to a Sticky Pod for still shots and video.

Quit being so hard on yourself...I don't see why you're not happy with your pics. You have the best cave pics so far and the rest of them are great as well.
I asked Forest if they ever did photographer tours where tripods were allowed - he said he didn't know. I'm starting to think Forest didn't know much. But the hand rails were fairly stable (except when people were using them) and that mostly served my purposes.
Built in flashes are just so puny, and I've never liked flash lighting anyway. When you use a flash you are changing the scene from what your eye was seeing that you wanted a picture of, and making it something very different.

Yes, you're right...Forest didn't know much. And he didn't have much of a sense of humor either...he either didn't get my stupid jokes or he just didn't think I was that funny...I don't get it.

Maybe we'll have to try this again at the next drive.
