Default OKC--Open Track Day - June 22nd

****This event is postponed until June 22nd***********
Unfortunately the track will be under maintenance and somehow they managed to forget to notify us. The 22nd is a secured date and is also a sunday. If there is a silver lining, I guess it will be that we may get to play on a fresh surface. I apologize for the confusion and late news, you can't imagine the level of frustration I swallowed when I learned of it this morning on the telephone just 3 days prior.
***********************************************

Greetings everyone, it's me, LJ from the Oklahoma Z Car Club. I am here to invite you all to come to our Open Track Day at the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Training Facility. This event is open to all sportscar enthusiasts. It is only going to cost you $25, which is incredible considering the amount of driving you will get to do in a roadcourse venue. This is a non-competitive event with the #1 priority being safety and the #2 priority being fun.

You will need a helmet and long pants, bring a chair, maybe a cooler with some drinks (no alcohol permitted), and the $25 entry fee. I strongly recommend you make sure your brake pads and coolant hoses are in good shape. I suggest swapping over to DOT4 brake fluid to eliminate the chance of boiling your fluid. I personally use ATE Super Blue in my 3300 lb twin turbo Z, with no issues under hard conditions. Everyone will know if you did not ensure these items to be in proper order for a day on the track, trust me, lol.

If you do not contact me directly to reserve a slot, then you will be subject to 1st come 1st serve entry that morning. If all 25 slots are reserved, then we will not admit anyone to drive who did not reserve a slot, so please PM me here or email me direct if you definitely want in on this event. I will need your full name, contact #, and car make/model. I will open the gate at 8am, and plan to get the first group of cars out onto the track at 9am. Depending on turnout, we will wrap up the day around 12-2pm ish

Here's a bird's-eye view of the track, located off of NE 36th St, east of I-35, and north of Midwest City. I look forward to seeing some of you guys and gals out there!

So does that mean you are coming Dartanyan?
Because I have yet to receive an email or PM from you saying you want me to slot you in for sure.

Typing up the roster right now, adding the S2k's, not gonna be many slots left after tonite. Gonna be a great time with a good mix of cars.
