I don't currently have an S2000 in my fleet, but that is soooo cool.
With the Honda's solid stance and that V8, I immediately thought of the Sunbeam Tiger. What I've read so far reminds me of how that car was developed. They did one on the cheap and one properly; with the engine set back to keep the weight distribution in line. Clearly, you're doing yours the proper way.
Finally, after 40 yrs., a true spiritual successor to a great beast.

Thats is going to be sick!!!
Few observations/questions:
1. The clearance to the firewall/tunnel is real close. Is there enough space for that motor to move when it winds up?
2. Can the steering rack fit in its original position? Looks awful close to the front of that oilpan..
