I bought a daily

Sweet!
We had an early '74 260Z that was close to that color. At one time I had (4) '74 260's in various stages, had one that was totaled with 5K miles on it, had a perfect dash and interior, someone had jacked the body up with a poor clip install.
My wife cried the day we sold the Z, she was pregnant with twins and literally could not drive it anymore. I bought her an 810 wagon so she still had the straight 6 performance in a Mom car.....

4 260s... jeez those were rare being that they were only made in '74. The carbs they have suck though. I had to work on some for someone and they were trash. I have a set of the early SUs from the '69-72s on mine. I can't wait to do the L28ET just because of the fuel injection... and the turbo of course.
810s were cool too. I've also always wanted a 510 just so I can swap something cool in there.
Do you have any pictures of yours? Did you have any that had the white interior?

I had a 510 in Hi School, it was way fun, just didn't have the funding to do anything with it other than drive it.
We have pics buried in a picture box somewhere, will have to hunt for them. Converted them all to earlier carbs when I could as you are correct, the '74 carbs were trash. Was always trying to talk my buddy out of his triple webers......
Mosl of mine had black interior, 1 silver/primer/black, 1 brown/brown, and 2 green/blacks.....
I really like the headlight covers on them, gives them a more modern look....

I would love to see whatever pics you have of the Zs and the 510 and 810 if you have any. Tripple webbers would sound great. I would try and get those if I could get a maxima crank to stroke it.
I wish I could find black interior in good shape so I could change mine out...

Yeah, but when that "okie on ice" comes flying up behind you when the conditions are far too dangerous and uses your car as a brake....... you will think differently.
Have you not seen how these people drive on a good day? I am very happy that my babies will be all nice and warm inside the garage and not risking it.
