Hallett August 29th ~~ $130 all day
The OKZCC is hereby inviting our S2Ki friends to join us August 29th for a full day of lapping at Hallett. http://www.hallettracing.net/
This event is part of our regional Z event, Midwest Z Fest ( www.midwestzfest.com ), however our day at Hallett is open to all makes and we encourage any local car peeps interested in track time to come out and enjoy yourself.
The form to register & online registration for Hallett is here:
http://www.midwestzfest.com/non-mzftrack.html
Advance registration is $130, "day-of" registration is $140. The format is the same as High Speed Touring. For those of you unfamiliar, HST, is basically as follows....
Participants are broken into groups according to driving ability and run 20 min sessions on-track. While on track, passing is only allowed on approved straight sections of the course. Passing in corners is not tolerated. Off-track excursions require the driver check into pitlane before resuming lapping. Sessions are non-competitive. You have nothing to win, and everything to lose by driving beyond your ability.
One little twist to our event is that we will have a seasoned racer who also happens to be a local police officer at the event. He will put up his best laps in a police cruiser so that you can see if you have what it takes to "escape the law", lol.
Having met several S2Ki folks at our local Sheriff's Track events, I hope as many of you can make this event as possible, and I look forward to seeing you there. If you have any questions feel free to contact me and I'll answer them the best I can.

hallett is tons of fun. havent had my S out there yet. we have a local group here that usually rents it out later in the year to have a private track day with no more than 20-25 people.
i'll post details when we set it up. but for now, this is a pretty good deal. i just don't like taking a car out there when the temp is still so high. its soooo hard on the poor cars
